Yes! You can cut, nail, drill, screw, and rout NewTechWood composite products with standard woodworking tools. The density of our composite is greater than wood thatʼs why we recommend using carbide tipped blades and bits.

Yes! NewTechWood decking has mould inhibitors that prevent mould growing on the inside of the board. Surface mould can still happen, however, it can be easily wiped clean and will never penetrate the board itself.

UltraShieldʼs heat retention is better than that of wood decking. Consumers should test the product in barefoot scenarios to ensure suitability. UltraShield is used and performs as intended worldwide in countries with extreme heat conditions including Africa and Dubai.

Yes! NewTechWood decking has grooved boards that accept the “Hidden Fastener System”. The TC clip system has a 5mm gap and the MG system has a 1mm gap.
